last week (thanks gill lol)  i helped rebuild a house in nola for a week,
and let me tell you there is still so much work to be done in LA y’all. five/six years later( after katrina, ivan and the bp oil spill).
i love doing community service. but, i have to say literally rebuilding someones home is the most fulfilling thing i have ever participated in. its hard work but it has to be done and its actually way easier to build a house than one may think. its free to volunteer and will literally change someones life. hopefully i will get a lot more chances to rebuild this summer/ in africa and asia and south america in the fall and then of course hopefully return to nola next spring.
